We were fortunate enough to travel to Florida several times, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, California, and Mexico. I have worked at Peabody Retirement Home for 15 yrs. as a CNA/QMA and I am a nursing student. I have 2 semesters left and I'll be an LPN. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Dec. of '99 and had a masectomy in Jan., 2000. I am now "Cancer Free". The day Misha died changed Jeff and I and we will never be the same again. We take one day at a time.

I turned 39 years old two weeks before Shane ended his all too short life. I have 2 children, Lacy who is 19, and Shane, who will forever be 16. I also amd "Mom" to a 3 month old Yellow Lab, named Rusty. I collect Teddy Bears and my home is filled with all kinds of bears, most of them that Shane had bought for me, so each one is precious to me.
